White Entertainment accuse Blackjacks of sabotaging Instiz pre-order chart

The biggest pre-order chart in South Korea, the Instiz Chart, has just released its official pre-order rankings for October to measure the most anticipated albums due for release, and the results are already causing waves across the music industry!

Take a look at the top ten below.

1. SECRET - The First Album
2. Girls' Generation - The Boys
3. IU - The 2nd Album
4. T-ara - Black Eyes
5. Jay Park - The 2nd Mini-Album
6. Orange Caramel - Shanghai Romance
7. Jessica Jiyeon - Girl Without a Heart
8. Kim Hyun Joong - Lucky
9. Wheesung - Single Album
10. G-Dragon - New Album
......
127. Neon Bunny - The First Mini-Album

On the last Instiz Pre-Order chart for the month of August, G-Dragon was ranking No. 2 behind SNSD, but his sales have dramatically slid after he was caught smoking marijuana nakedly with T.O.P.

But that's not the only reason the Instiz chart is attracting attention. Small agency White Entertainment (home of Girls' Revolution and HyunA Knowles) have accused the chart of being altered by 2NE1's fans, the Blackjacks, in order to sabotage the sales of Jessica Jiyeon's new mini-album.

"This chart is an absolute disgrace," says Trina Villota, co-CEO of White Entertainment. "The Blackjacks have reached a dismal and disgusting new low. They are clearly upset over Jessica's highly-publicized relationship with Teddy Park, so they are pre-ordering rival albums to give Jessica a flop chart position."

"My partner, KellyRose Spires, did some investigating on the 6theory message boards yesterday," Trina continued, "and she discovered that Blackjacks had made a thread encouraging the purchase of SECRET's album to sabotage Jessica. They are well aware of the feud between SECRET's Song Ji Eun and Jessica, so they are trying to use it to make Jessica flop. It's absolutely disgusting and makes me sick to my stomach. I've never witnessed such corruption in all my years."

When AKF investigated 6theory, we could find no record of the forum thread that KellyRose and Trina spoke of. They then claimed it had been deleted by Blackjacks to cover their tracks.

Trina then promised that A Girl Without a Heart would be a strong seller in the long run.

"Jessica's album may be doing poorly now, but we are confident that sales will pick up when you see her live stage and bold new concept," Trina said.

"Nobody else can sing as well as Jessica, and she has the highest-grossing movie in Asia right now, so clearly these pre-orders are just a temporary glitch. Plus, she can't be expected to compete at the level of these girl groups when she is just a solo artist."

Naturally, netizens flooded our message boards to give their thoughts on this controversial situation.

Comments included, "Can't compete with girl groups? But IU album is selling high," "Trina and Jessica are just jealous of 2NE1 success because they are the bestest band that ever lived," "I watched Jessica's movie Rocker Princess and it was good, but I did not pre-order her album," and "White Entertainment are all trash. I thought Jessica was different, but I guess she is just as bad as HyunA and Tiffany."

Which album will you be buying this month?
