Wi-Fi impress at fan meeting

KRS Media’s Wi-Fi have been making waves in the K-Pop world with their debut mini album “Everywhere” and debut single “I Love U”, which debuted on the GAON singles chart at #35 & the Billboard K-Pop Hot 100 at #38 this week. Tiffany Taeyeon reveals "Do Da Disco" movie posters!

Tiffany Taeyeon is proving that she's ready for one of the biggest comebacks of the year, today unveiling the first two movie posters for her upcoming "Do Da Disco" music videos.

According to White Entertainment, six different MVs will be released for "Da Da Disco" during the course of its promotional cycle. First will be the "Club Ver.", followed by the "Trash Ver.""Do Da Disco Down Under", the "Busan Heights Ver.", the "Choreography Ver.", and an as-yet-untitled sixth version.

The posters for the first two versions were unveiled today, showcasing Tiffany in two vastly different concepts that are sure to shock netizens. The first is for the club version, which will serve as the main music video for the song. The clip boasts an all-star cast, including Girls' RevolutionT-araSimon D, and KRS Media's new trainee group White Dolls, who will play club-goers partying at a disco on ladies night.

The second clip released will be the "Trash Ver.", which is not just attracting controversy for its explicit artwork, but is also receiving a high amount of interest due to Tiffany's collaboration with American filmmaker John Waters, who serves as both a creative consultant and co-star for the mini-drama MV.

Waters is best known as the King of Trash Cinema back in the States, having written & directed cult classics like Pink Flamingos and A Dirty Shame, so his involvement in Tiffany's project is further proof that the Hallyu wave has now taken over the world. Also starring in the MV is drag queen Nina Flowers, who shot to fame in the US after appearing on season one of Ru Paul's hit reality series Drag Race.

In the MV, Tiffany plays Bonnie Bash'Em, a feminist vigilante street prostitute who gets her best friend, a jaded Puerto-Rican drag queen named La Casita Blanca, to murder her male clients by drowning them in the toilet bowls of underground nightclubs. When one man escapes and runs to the police, Bonnie and Blanca go on one last murderous rampage to clean up the streets of the male gender, who they believe has oppressed and abused them their whole lives.

The short-film is already garnering comparisons to Thelma & Louise, with Waters calling it a sharp social commentary on feminism and LGBT rights.

The "Do Da Disco (Club Ver.)" will premiere on February 14th, the same day as Tiffany's album Friday Night Fever, followed by the "Trash Ver." one week later.

Netizens comments on Tiffany's news included, "I know Tiff is friends with T-ara, but does she really need to copy them like this?", "I want to see the trash version, but I know my parents won't let me", "I never realized Tiffany was so creative!" and "With all this hype, she better deliver."

Tiffany Taeyeon announces Valentine's Day comeback!

Tiffany Taeyeon has announced her official comeback!

The 'Sexy Idol' invited Star News into the recording studio with her this past weekend, where she was putting the finishing touches to her first full-length album, Friday Night Fever.

Also in the studio were a group of lucky Tae Soldiers who won a competition through AllKFlop to meet their idol in person. According to Star News, meeting her fans face to face was too much for Tiffany, who broke down in tears while discussing her album.

"The album's finished and it's really f&%king good," a tearful Tiffany reportedly told the Tae Soldiers. "I promise to give you the greatest album of this decade, just for you. This album is the anthem for my generation."

After composing herself, Tiffany sat down for a formal interview with Star News, where she revealed some more details about the highly-anticipated project.

"I was originally only supposed to release a digital single, but because my fans waited so long, I decided to repay them with a full-length album. I have spent so much time working on it  to make sure everything is perfect, so please support me."

"Through 'Friday Night Fever', I will show you an upgraded side of myself," she continued. "This is an album that contains many different colors, so please show it love."

Friday Night Fever is currently scheduled for release on Valentines Day. The title track is a retro-themed song titled "Do Da Disco", featuring popular rapper Simon D

In addition to Simon D, Tiffany's album is said to contain many high-profile collaborations, as well as a song that she co-wrote and co-composed herself with the help of Girls' Revolution's 'Musician Idol' Suzy Sooyoung. The song is said to be a response to Fat Cat's hit single "Is Being Pretty Everything?", which many netizens speculated was a diss aimed at Tiffany and her diva reputation.

After hearing about Tiffany's new album, netizens commented, "Ugh, another disco song? Over it already", "I think she will surpass Hyori as our #1 sexy idol after this album!", "So far the album sounds like it's going to be the K-Pop version of Born This Way. Not interested." and "I can't wait to hear her diss that flop Fat Cat. Fany is truly the best. Hwaiting!"

HyunA Knowles releases debut album, Bunny's First Love!

After unveiling both her title track and its MV yesterday, "The Bunny Singer" HyunA Knowles has released her first full-length album, Bunny's First Love!

The album is comprised of ten tracks, with two sung completely in English for HyunA's international fans. HyunA's past hits such as "(Gurlz) Break Yo' Ankle!" and "So Scandalous (feat. Girls' Revolution)" are also included, making the album's sound cohesive and full of hits. It's been revealed before that top K-Pop producers like Shinsadong Tiger and Brave Brothers contributed their talents to the album, as well as Swedish hitmaker RedOne, who is best known for his work with world famous pop icons Livvi Franc and Sugababes, guaranteeing that HyunA has delivered a high quality of music for her first full-length album.

Speaking to AllKFlop exclusively, Hyuna says, "The concept of the album is coming of age. I'll be turning 20 soon and before that, I want to give my fans the 19 years old side of me that was hidden. The first half of the album shows 19 HyunA who's cute and childish and full of aegyeo. The other half is full of edgy and fierce song, with adult-ballad A Bunny's Dream closing the album. I love all the tracks, but if I have to choose my favorite track, it would be the Trina-produced ballad Lonely. Trina unnie wrote it during her separation phase with White's previous CEO. She was in the bed and missing her ex-husband so much. She felt dry but she only could say 'I'm lonely, lonely, come to bed, darling...'. She thought it was a really great lyric and wrote it into a full song. Later, she gave it exclusively to me."

Remember to support HyunA Knowles by purchasing her album!

HyunA Knowles unleashes new single "Lazy Gürl (Bunny's First Love)" and 20-minute MV

Lazy Gürl Movie Poster
After her 3-note singing in "A Bunny's Dream" went viral and became a hot issue, "Supermodel Idol" HyunA Knowles has unleashed the title track and accompanying mini-movie music video from her upcoming first full-length album.

"Lazy Gürl (Bunny's First Love)" was produced by Shinsadong Tiger and Choi Kyu Sang, who are best known for their work with T-ara and B2ST

CEO White Entertainment Trina Villota explained,"Lazy Gürl features an addictive but easy to follow melody that will catch the attention of listeners of all ages. Through this song, HyunA will showcase her unique charms that have never been seen before. We invested a lot of money trying get a song from Shinsadong Tiger, and even more money on the music video. We wanted to make sure that the older generation will feel the scent of HyunA's sexiness when they view the video, while the younger generation will be swollen by HyunA's aegyeo. Even with the investors we secured for this project, the cost was very high, so please show HyunA's comeback lots of love so we won't be broke,"

"HyunA's main goal is to get Lazy Gürl as South Korea's National Song, and to become the Nation's Little Sister instead of IU. We told her that it was a goal she may never fulfill, but she is determined to try her best to achieve her dreams.19-year-old HyunA will show people her cute and fresh charms through the promotions of this album. Please anticipate it!"

Just like many MVs lately, HyunA has jumped on the current hot trend by making "Lazy Gürl" a whopping 20 minutes long. The MV was filmed in a mini-drama format with famous director Han Joo-seo, who caused scandal last year after directing KBS' first lesbian drama Daughters of Club Bilitis

Fitting in with the single's retro theme, the music video is about a young and cheerful girl waiting for her first love to come, but she's too lazy to search for him. Instead of looking for Mr. Right, she just waits at home lazying around, watching TV and eating cheese balls all day long. The video also includes many clips of HyunA dancing to addictive choreography in a glamorous green and gold bodysuit.

To give the MV more star power, White Entertainment edited in fancam footage of A-list idols HwanheeJay ParkNichkhunSo Ji SubMarcoJang HyukSong Seung HunChoi SiwonKwon Sang Woo, and Chansung, who all play the men chasing HyunA's heart. Although they didn't actually film new scenes for the MV, the fancams have been edited so well that many netizens have been unable to tell the difference. The only real Idol who stars in the video is the masculine Jo Kwon, who plays HyunA's main love interest. HyunA gives her heart to Kwonnie, but when he is about to kiss her, a magic spell that had changed HyunA into human is broken and she transforms back into her true self - a cute fluffy white bunny! Jo Kwon is so shocked by the transformation that he runs away forever, leaving HyunA heartbroken and crying, giving her no choice but to flee into the wild with the other bunnies where she lives happily ever after.

With Lazy Gürl, HyunA has successfully delivered her promised 180-degree transformation, ditching her bold and fierce image from last last year for a beautiful, young, aegyo concept. Speaking of her new style, HyunA shared exclusively with AllKFlop, "I had a hard time understanding the meaning of the song. After I kept failing, Trina unnie suggested for me to act like the girl in the lyrics, such as being lazy and doing nothing. I took her advice and didn't take a bath for a whole week, staying confined to my bedroom the entire time. From eating to recording my vocals and even going to the toilet, I did everything there. The staff had a hard time during recording because of the smell, but it all paid off as the song turned out really well. Please show lots of love to me and my next hit!"

Fans have been buzzing about the hilarious music video and flooding our forums. Comments included: "Adam Couple is #1 so I hated this video until Kwonnie ran away and left HyunA crying, then I loved it. It really is the best!", "How is this aegyo? All the men are shirtless to show off their muscles, and HyunA just acted cute in skimpy clothing", "Poppers are the best we will make this song a hit for our princess!", "Can't wait for HyunA's comeback tomorrow. It will surely overshadow Girls' Generation lame US performance and Wonder Girls' movie."

It's only been a few hours since she dropped her new single, but HyunA is already sweeping the music charts, ranking in the top three of many real-time charts and search portals.

HyunA is set to release her first full album tomorrow and scheduled to make a comeback on the same day via Music Core. Stay tune for further info of HyunA's comeback!

Wi-Fi make a confession with “I Love U”

KRS Media have been teasing us since late December with photos and solo tracks from their debut male group Wi-Fi. Today, the boys released their debut mini album “Everywhere”.

Everywhere” kicks off with the up-tempo 90’s influenced “I Love U”. Despite being the *only track all five members actively sing on, the song does a great job of showing their vocal capabilities and is both strong & different enough to go up against offerings from Wi-Fi’s direct competition.

*(Danny & Kass rap on “My Angel” while Ari & C.O sing back-up; main vocals are left to maknae J-Me)

The lyrics tell the story of a guy who almost misses a chance at a love that’s been staring him in the face for so long.

“I never thought that I would fall like this,
I never thought you would be the one to catch me.
But this thing called love,
Is really not so bad.
I feel like such a fool.

I love you.
I want you.
I need you.
I choose you.
These are the words from my heart,
words I learned after meeting you.”

Main rapper Kass delivers a tough love approach with his rapped confession, forcing his crush to open her eyes to the possibility of a relationship with him while admitting his own shortcomings.

“Most of the things you want are unnecessary.
The most important thing is how you feel.
I used to overthink relationships as well but now I‘ve changed.

I've purposefully hurt the ones I loved in the past,
Because I was afraid of being hurt myself.
But everything I have to give you never feels wasted.
I’ll say it again…
I love you!”

What Wi-Fi lack in flashy concepts they make up for with stellar vocals. Main vocalist C.O and lead vocalists Danny and Ari are allowed to ride the up-tempo beat naturally, making the listener pay attention to every word in utter anticipation. The distinctness of the individual member’s voices makes for an enjoyable experience when they blend them; harmonizing seamlessly as if to form one perfect voice.

Each member is able to make themselves known immediately, something most groups never achieve due to enforced hierarchies or lack of talent outside of the appointed lead & main members. The album, anchored by “I Love U”, somehow balances out in spite of its six tracks having no connection to one another, concept or style wise. The fact that the group is able to pull off a cohesive sound is an achievement.

Danny's "1,2 Step"
Kass' "The Weekend"
J-Me's "My Angel"

The music video features Girl's Day's Minah as the object of the group’s affections. The sets are light & playful, complimenting the sweet message of the song nicely as they follow her through various locations professing their love for her. The boys come off cute & engaging; each diverse member given an equal chance to show his charms, as well as his dance skills. The MV ends with a surprise twist as Minah makes her choice of who she wants.

The boys are set to debut “I Love U” on KBS’ Music Bank on the 3rd. Keep an eye on AKF for the latest.
