'Tiffany Taeyeon Tribute Album' sweeps the GAON charts!

The highly-publicized Tiffany Taeyeon tribute album has stormed the charts this week, with almost every track from the album ranking within the top 20 of the GAON Digital Songs chart.

Check out the chart ranking below.

1. Trina Villota Feat. White Entertainment Family - "Free The World (White Family United)"
2. T-ara - "Come Back"
3. Jessica Jiyeon - "Save You"
4. HyunA Knowles - "Starlight Tears"
5. IU - Every End of the Day"
6. Suzy Sooyoung - "Too Young to Die (Too Drunk to Live)
7. Tiffany Taeyeon - "Can't Do It Without You"
8. INFINITE - "The Chaser"
9. Suzy Sooyoung - "Never Forget You"
10. T-ara - "Searching"
...
14. Wi-Fi - "Everlasting Love"
19. White Dolls - "The Day You Went Away"
73. KellyRose Spires Feat. White Dolls - "Fallin'"

"Free The World" becomes the first #1 single for all the artists at White Entertainment, including Trina Villota and KellyRose Spires, but excluding Tiffany Taeyeon, who didn't participate in the song for obvious reasons. The previous highest chart position for White Entertainment was Jessica Jiyeon's ballad "Last Winter", which peaked at No. 2 last year.

Additionally, with the success of "Free the World", as well as "Everlasting Love" and "The Day You Went Away", both Wi-Fi and White Dolls become the highest-charting rookie acts of the year.

Over on the albums chart, TTYL: Tiffany Taeyeon Tribute Album has dethroned Junsu's Tarantallegra at the top spot, rocketing straight to No. 1 with approximately 78,000 copies this week. TTYL has also charted internationally, reaching No. 27 on the French album chart.

After the chart rankings were revealed, White Entertainment's CEO Trina Villota told Newsen, "I'm so happy that I have the #1 single on GAON chart. It's an honor to know that I'm now in the same chart topping company as artists like Girls' Generation, Super Junior, and IU."

She continued, "White Entertainment thanks everyone who supported this project and helped make our little agency as successful as Cube and Core Contents Media. Due to the kindness of the public, we now have the resources to continue searching for Korea's lost angel, Tiffany Taeyeon."

"To repay everyone for their support, we are currently considering doing some live stages and music videos to further promote TTYL and help it become the biggest album of 2012. By next year, White plans to be on the same level as JYP, SM, and YG. Please help that dream become a reality."

Netizens were quick to respond to the news, writing in our forums. "I expect a huge second week sales drop," "What, KellyRose ballad ranked last out of all the songs? It's the best track from the album." and "Whoever bought this is a real sucker because Tiffany is obviously dead. Trina will probably use this money to buy new shoes."
