Wi-Fi impress at fan meeting

KRS Media’s Wi-Fi have been making waves in the K-Pop world with their debut mini album “Everywhere” and debut single “I Love U”, which debuted on the GAON singles chart at #35 & the Billboard K-Pop Hot 100 at #38 this week. While their fellow rookie groups have relied on overblown teasers and tired “flower boy gangsta” concepts, Danny, Kass, Ari, J-Me, and C.O’s focus on vocals and fan service have made them one of most beloved new groups of the year.

Last night the group held their first fan meeting at the famed Namjin Circle Theater in Seoul, hosted by their White Entertainment labelmate Suzy Sooyoung, attracting an impressive 2,900 attendees who were anxious to get an up close & personal visit with the boys.

The group performed all the tracks from “Everywhere” as well as special stages including a duet between C.O and Ari who performed a cover of 2AM's Seulong & IU's hit "Nagging", a dance battle between Kass and J-Me to a mash-up of R.Kelly’s “Crazy Night” & "I Love The DJ", and a solo stage for Danny who performed a cover of Katy Perry's hit "The One That Got Away" while expertly playing the accordion.

The group also covered Battle’s 2008 hit “Step By Step” and Nine Muses’ “News”. The group’s racy recreation of “News” was one of the night's highlights as they daringly executed the fierce routine with a group of male back up dancers.

After, MC Suzy introduced surprise video messages of congratulations from Dream Tea Entertainment’s Girl’s Day, SM Entertainment’s Shindong, Eunhyuk, & Sungmin of Super Junior, singer Seo In Guk, CCM’s 5dolls, & Wi-Fi’s White Entertainment labelmate Jessica Jiyeon. Jessica expressed her happiness for her hubaes by singing lines from “I Love U” and wished them much success from an undisclosed location.

The members then answered submitted questions and played party games with their fans, giving them a one of a kind experience before ending the show with a cover of Chris Brown’s “With You” that showcased their perfect harmonies & undying appreciation for their fans.
