Suzy Sooyoung releases "Rehab (Dear Su-Witches)" digital single!

It's no secret that idol group Girls' Generation have had just as many troubles as they have success. From Suzy and Jessica's problems with drugs and alcohol, Tiffany's rumored mental instability, HyunA's late night meetings with producers and investors, and all the never-ending plastic surgery claims, it's safe to say that Girls' Revolution is one of the most scandalous groups in K-Pop.

The members don't usually like to discuss their scandals, but Suzy Sooyoung has bravely stepped forward to address her issues with her new digital single "Rehab (Dear Su-Witches)".

The new single is a gift to Suzy's fans, and was written and produced by the idol herself shortly after she left rehab last year, making Suzy the first female idol to ever completely write, compose, and perform her own music.

"Rehab (Dear Su-Witches)" contains an alternative style that matches Suzy's unique charms, with lyrics in both English and Mandarin to appeal to Su-Witches around the world. The cover art was designed by Suzy herself using Windows Paint, and shows an old photo of the singer that was taken last year during her stay in rehab at the Seoul Treatment Clinic for Drugs & Alcohol. In the picture, Suzy can be seen doing a provocative pose on a lounge as she stares off into the distant, deep in thought.

"This song is very special to me," Suzy tells AllKFlop exclusively. "It represents my true musical color, and contains a powerful message about overcoming your struggles. That is why I felt it was important to release it as a gift to my Su-Witches, who have supported me through all my scandals. I am naked in the cover photo, because I wanted my fans to see the real me - raw and natural."

"Not only will my Su-Witches relate to this, but so will Jessie Jiyeon unnie," she continued. "We both struggled with substance abuse, but luckily I have overcome my problems. I hope that this song gives Jessica strength during her dark times."

Since its worldwide digital release earlier today, "Rehab (Dear Su-Witches)" has been ranking in the top forty of many Korean real-time charts, and in the top ten of Taiwan's KKBOX digital chart.

Netizens comments, "This song is very alternative and artistic, so I don't like it, but I'm glad she got off the roof top", "I'm so happy that Suzy is appealing to her Chinese fans like me more. The production is very polished and definitely fits into the C-Pop music scene", "This music is a style that only us Su-Witches understand. If you want mainstream, listen to 2NE1",  and "这首歌是太神奇了!这将是在香港确保#1."

Hwayoung's wardrobe malfunction shames family and shocks Korea

NSFW - Hwayoung strips on Inkigayo
It's been almost 24 hours since T-ara's Hwayoung had an X-rated wardrobe malfunction on Inkigayo, but the incident is still sending shockwaves throughout Korea

In what is quickly becoming the biggest news story since Kim Jong Il's death, Hwayoung's hot issue nip slip has torn South Korea apart, prompting reforms for the country's censorship laws and dividing the opinions of netizens like never before.

Speaking exclusively to AllKFlop, Baek Kim Suk from the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family had this to say about the shock incident. "The MOGEAF warned you degenerates that something like this would happen, and you didn't listen. CUBE Entertainment even sued us, and now look what's happened -- an afternoon TV show has been transformed into lewd porn."

She continued. "This is the kind of behavior I expect from Americans like Janet Jackson, so to see it in my own country is disheartening. It was literally the most obscene thing I have ever witnessed in my entire life, and I have been unable to sleep due to my worries about the future of Korea's youth."

"Is this what it takes to win awards on music programs now? Nudity and sex? Shame on Hwayoung, SBS, and Core Contents Media for letting this happen. The MOGEAF will be submitting a bill to have any idol-related programs, including the music shows, moved to cable television at a more appropriate time slot like midnight. When that passes, we will then move to have idol music banned forever, so trot can rule Asia again."

The scandal has also hit Hwayoung hard, with the 18-year-old telling Newsen that her family have now disowned her.
Hwayoung's female relatives hide their faces in shame

"My family said I bought shame upon them," revealed Hwayoung. "They taunted me and said I should join RaNia, and then put my belongings in the garbage and told me never to come home again. I told them I am never home anyway due to my schedules, but they wouldn't listen. Mother said she will only speak to me if I can become a more popular member of T-ara and land more CF deals and a role in her favorite drama."

Luckily for Hwayoung, her agency CCM have so far stuck by her side during the ordeal.

"CCM are the only ones who have shown me support," she continued. "They said that now that I am a hot issue, T-ara's vacation will be cancelled so we can continue our promotions and gain more fans. We will be releasing a repackaged album next month called 'Lovey-Dovey on Mars'. It will feature a new alien concept, thirteen MVs for the title track, and remixed versions of all the songs from Funky Town. Please show it lots of love."

Netizens have been quick to react to Hwayoung's wardrobe malfunction, flooding our forums with feedback as the controversy continues to rage.

Comments included, "Hwayoung was the #1 most searched term on Naver because I couldn't stop looking at her naked pictures," "I used to like T-ara, but that's because I thought they were innocent. I liked their gangster murder concept for Cry Cry, but this is too much," and "This is why I only support Yoona. She doesn't need to use her looks for attention."

B.A.P&TIFFANY releases digital single "I Love You"

Tiffany Taeyeon and rookie boy band B.A.P have teamed up to release a special collaboration single, "I Love You"

[Download "I Love You"]

According to representatives from both White Entertainment and TS Entertainment, the artists will be promoting as an official spin-off group B.A.P&TIFFANY. The project was decided after both agencies saw the recent success of unit groups like SISTAR19 and Trouble Maker.

Speaking to Newsen, White CEO Trina Villota said of the collaboration: "After much discussion with our friends at TS Entertainment, we decided that forming a collaboration project would be the best thing for both of our artists. TS felt that Tiffany would help draw attention to their new rookie group B.A.P as they undertake their debut promotions, and we also wanted to help re-introduce Tiffany to the public before she releases her first solo album next month. We are confident that B.A.P's talent combined with Tiffany's charisma will make everybody forget that Trouble Maker ever existed. I even think that B.A.P&TIFFANY is better than when 2NE1 and BIGBANG did that duet thing together."

"I Love You" is an acoustic Hip-Hop ballad composed by Choi Pil Kang, who did "Open Window" and "I Know" from Seungri's VVIP album. The lyrics were co-written by Girls' Revolution member Suzy Sooyoung. and are about a man who is unable to express the love that he feels deep inside.

For the single's artwork, Tiffany Taeyeon has made a shocking 180-degree transformation that has left netizens in awe. The idol has shed her feminine image to dress up like a member of B.A.P, wearing one of their trademark leather jackets with spiked heels, and even dying her hair a white blonde to match theirs. She is also posing in a bold and provocative way in order to highlight her enviable curves and S-line.

"I Love You" was released digitally a few hours ago, and is already ranking in the top five of many real-time charts. This puts Tiffany in direct competition with her bandmate HyunA Knowles, who is also ranking in the top five with her new ballad "A Bunny's Dream". This marks the first time that any Girls' Revolution members have ever promoted solo projects at the same time.

Shortly after "I Love You" was released, Netizens scrambled to our forums to share their opinions on this shock new collaboration. Comments included: "I used to think that Tiffany was the female version of INFINITE, but now I think she is the female B.A.P", "This song is amazing, but I won't support any male rookies that aren't with SM. Plus, I hate Tiffany. EXO-K hwaiting!", "OMG, I can't wait to see them dance on stage!", and "Tiffany is doing another unit group? I wish she would just hurry up and release her own album instead."

B.A.P&TIFFANY will begin promoting "I Love You" on this week's music programs, beginning with K-Pop Con and MTV's The Show. B.A.P will be working extra hard, as they are also promoting their first single "Warrior", while Tiffany will spend her spare time putting the finishing touches to her first solo album.

Are you looking forward to their first live stage?

HyunA Knowles unleashes buzz single, "A Bunny's Dream"

To keep the momentum for her impending comeback alive, HyunA Knowles has unleashed a new buzz single "A Bunny's Dream" from her upcoming first full-length album, Bunny's First Love.

The track is a remake of K-Diva Insooni's biggest hit to date "A Goose's Dream", which is widely regarded by many as South Korea's National song. It's remained extremely popular over the years, with many top idols like SISTAR's Hyorin and Korea's very own Meryl Streep Eunjung covering the iconic classic.

For her version of the power ballad, HyunA had the lyrics changed from being about a woman's gusto to chase her dream into a woman's desire to become more and more beautiful. The metaphor of the song has also been changed, from a goose into a beautiful fluffy white bunny. After relying heavily on autotune for her last single releases, HyunA is now finally showcasing a more raw and stronger vocal style, with her voice soaring higher than the clouds on the chorus of "A Bunny's Dream". She also put a lot of emotion into the song, making it even more heart-wrenching than the orginal and cover versions.

Speaking to Newsen, White CEO Trina Villota revealed more details on HyunA's comeback: "HyunA's first album will be called Bunny's First Love. It's so cute, isn't it?". She blinked her eye and continued, "It will contain ten tracks, which we are sure will make fans swell with happiness. We have released "A Bunny's Dream" early as a buzz single to thank the public for their support, and we ask that you all show HyunA lots of love.

"As many people know, I'm very close to Insooni, she's my tea party friend. When HyunA asked me to ger her a song that's more experimental and hard to sing, I rushed to call Insooni and begged for advice. At first, she rejected my requests, and said she would only work with our vocalist Jessica Jiyeon. I told HyunA but she still insisted, so she went to see Insooni personally, against my wishes. I don't know what happened, but I heard HyunA came to Insooni's house and did some 'talking', because the following day Insooni called and accepted the offer. Of course, we were really happy and grateful to Insooni Noona for this."

Netizens who have heard the song commented, "Ommona! A Bunny's Dream is sooo sad. It made me cry like a baby.""Her voice is so horrid it irritated me, I can't hear this garbage no more!", "I think Insooni will be very proud after hearing this, she killed it.""Poppers and Blackjacks all over the world, don't forget to support each other by buying this song. It's truly a masterpiece.""Is being pretty everything?".

It's only been a few hours since the song released but "A Bunny's Dream" has achieved high rankings on various music charts from Melon to Soribada. You can download the song here

HyunA Knowles questions 'What is... FIRST LOVE?' in comeback teaser

Preparations for HyunA Knowles' much anticipated comeback are now well underway, as the self-proclaimed "superstar supermodel" has just unleashed her first teaser!

On January 27th, HyunA unveiled her comeback teaser through an interactive mini-site on White Entertainment's official website. Upon entering the mini-site, fans hear HyunA's voice asking, "What is... FIRST LOVE?" . A photo of the starlet is then seen close-up from an upper angle, to make the viewer feel as if they are watching her from above. The photo highlights HyunA's stunning cheek bones and shows her luscious lips pouting in pink and dark eyeshadow covering her closed eyes. The slick and simple teaser makes everyone who sees it curious and filled with anticipation for HyunA's return.

To further promote the comeback, White Entertainment's building has been wrapped in banners asking the same mysterious question, causing many netizens to experience deep thoughts as they think of the possible answer.

Trina Villota, CEO of White Entertainment, shared with Newsen, "HyunA Knowles has finally finished working on her album. After releasing two um, hugely successful digital singles, we decided to take things to the next level with a full-length album. It's been a hard time for the staff of white, full of sweat, blood, and tears for everyone involved, especially myself, but we are very satisfied and proud with the outcome. We are really sure that this album is gonna be the best album released in 2012, possibly even of all time."

She continued, "For the album, HyunA has made a shocking, 180-degree transformation. She'll be showing a totally different image that can capture every netizen's heart, no matter how old they are. From elderly ahjussis to newborn babies, everybody will feel their heart swell from HyunA's charms. She has even taken several singing and dancing classes from the same teachers of the international diva Selena Gomez. Through these special lessons, HyunA will be able to show a more improved side of herself that is even better than 2NE1. For the music's composition, we only worked with the best composers in the world to make sure the quality of the album is of a high-level and quality. To name a few, Shinsadong TigerBrave Brothers, and even Grammy-winning international producer RedOne have contributed to HyunA's album to ensure it's success and make history. This album cost so much money to make, so please show it love so we can pay back our many investors."

Trina also made a quite shocking statement by saying, "I, myself, also wrote a song for the album that only HyunA can sing. It's so unique that not even star vocalist Jessica Jiyeon or our musician idol Suzy Sooyoung could do it."

Netizens commented in response: "HyunA's pink lips are so sexy that I just want to taste them to see if they are sweet!", "For me, first love is someone whom you had sex for the first time with. But it must be good, if it's not, then the next sex can be the first love.", "Us Poppers know that HyunA is already on the same level as Selena Gomez, especially with RedOne producing. Can ya faves?", "I'm so looking forward to the song Trina wrote. I heard she's very talented like Insooni, she just hides her talent cause KellyRose is jealous of her."

So, what do you think first love is?

Tiffany Taeyeon releases "LOVE!/HAPPINESS" single!

After recently signing a solo record deal in Japan with Slavex Trax, Korean idol Tiffany Taeyeon has released the details of her first solo single, "LOVE!"/"HAPPINESS", which will be released in Japan as a double A-side single on January 11th.

"LOVE!" is an urban-dance ballad featuring Japanese rapper Wise, while "HAPPINESS" is an electronic club song with a European sound. Both songs were made available for streaming on Avex's official website earlier today, delighting fans who had been waiting patiently to hear Tiffany's long-awaited solo debut.

Along with the new music, Tiffany has also made a shocking transformation for the single's release, leaving behind her trademark sexy image to showcase a bold and colorful new look that highlights her previously hidden charms. According to Tiffany's agency White Entertainment, the official title for the new concept is "Future Space Color Disco", and it was specifically designed to showcase the bright and vibrant side of Tiffany's personality that the public have never seen before. However, some detractors have been quick to point the finger at White, accusing the agency of ripping off Seo In Young's Ellythm concept and trying to reinvent Tiffany's image for Japan after her old sexy style and rude behavior gained her a negative reputation in Korea.

In an interview with our sister-site Tokyo Dive, Tiffany had this to say about her first single release:

"I am nervous to finally begin my solo career, but I am also confident and determined to do my best so I can please the Japanese fans for all the love they have shown Heathers. My new songs showcase many of my unique talents, such as singing and rapping and beauty, so please support me."

Tiffany also spoke briefly about her feud with Kawaii icon Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, which first started last September at Tokyo Fashion Week after Kyary criticized the Heathers' red carpet style.

"My single will be released on January 11th, the same day as Kyary's "Tsukema Tsukera". I know that she is a hot trend in Japan right now, but I am looking forward to charting much higher than her. I ask that you show my new single lots of love and purchase multiple copies so I can beat Kyary. Arigato."
