SISTAR, IU, and the Wonder Girls chosen for Coca-Cola’s “ALL-STARS: OPEN HAPPINESS 2012” campaign!

Coca-Cola recently announced they’re looking to spice up their ‘Open Happiness’ campaign with the help of some of South Korea’s most talented & popular female idols!

The confirmed artists signed on are SISTAR, IU, A Pink, Jessica Jiyeon, miss A, SecretWonder Girls, and 4minute. T-ara were reportedly due to join, but whether or not the alleged bullying scandal resulted in their dismissal from the final line-up is unconfirmed.

The group are set to film a large scale mini musical CF (which will run exclusively on Coca-Cola Korea’s official website and throughout Asia) as well as several normal length CFs, which will feature specific groupings.

This is coup for the brand.” Coca-Cola Korea spokeswoman Gim Hyeon Ja candidly revealed during a press conference.

Up until now 2PM have done a phenomenal job representing the brand, and will continue to in the future, but it’s undeniable the appeal of all these incredible women coming together, despite individual company affiliations, for the greater good.”

We don’t want just men to watch these commercials: we want women of all ages; from toddlers to teenagers to grandmothers to all see a bit of themselves, their pasts & their futures, in the artists. We are hopeful ‘OPEN HAPPINESS 2012’ will bring happiness to all!

The extended musical version, as well as the regular ads, are scheduled to premiere in the coming weeks. Stay tuned to AKF for more.
