Jessica Jiyeon unleashes her new buzz single, "Love Is?"

Jessica Jiyeon, still riding high off the success of her debut feature film Rocker Princess, has decided to unveil her new buzz single "Love Is?" from her upcoming mini album, "Girl Without A Heart".

The track, a collaborative effort with “So Scandalous” singer & White Entertainment label mate HyunA Knowles, is a perfect mix of new age hip-hop beats, a powerful & emotive vocal delivery, and fierce rapping. The lyrics tell the story of a girl attempting to move on after having her heart broken, only to have steady reminders of what she & her ex shared constantly in her way.

“My heart hurts just like it’s being ripped apart.”

“No matter how much time has passed, I’ll still remember our past/No matter how you've hurt me, I’ll still remember your face.”

“Sometimes there’s a song being played we used to listen to together/When I hear that song I go numb.”

Many have speculated that the lyrics reference Jessica's recent break up with YG producer Teddy Park. Jessica has downplayed any connection and promised that while her break up is still on her heart & mind she is not affected by it like the girl in the song.

With the Heathers' debut Japanese album Absolute First Album now available, Jessica Jiyeon dropped in on Choi-La & Aok at Mega Seoul FM for a quick chat before departing for Tokyo to begin promotions with Tiffany Taeyeon.

After wowing the room & listeners with a cover of Leona Lewis’ Collide, Choi-La & Aok centered in on Jessica's recent heartbreak. The singer attempted to avoid the barrage of questions by smiling & focusing on Absolute First Album, before finally giving in.

“It was the first real relationship I ever had.”, Jessica revealed “It was so frustrating having everyone telling me to run. Maybe I stayed as an act of rebellion.”

Aok, known for his confrontational interview tactics, then asked about her alleged feud with 2NE1 leader & rumored mistress of Teddy Park, CL.

JESSICA: “What? Where are you getting your information from? There is no bad blood between CL & I. And I know for a fact there is nothing going on between her & Teddy. Besides, 2NE1 are just as busy as Heathers, if not more! Why go from one relationship where things are too manic to work to another?”

Choi-La tried to move the conversation forward but Aok returned to the breakup.

AOK: “So you say you stayed with Teddy as an act of rebellion…huh, that seems to run in your family. Wasn’t your stepfather & ex White Entertainment Chairman Park Su Kang recently arrested for tax evasion? And on top of that, aren’t the current CEOs his ex mistress & an ex drug addict turned mobster’s wife? White Entertainment are a joke! Trina Villota and KellyRose Spires should be run out of Seoul for their scandalous pasts!”

Jessica kept her composure throughout the inquisition and responded with: “I’m really excited for this album. Tiffany & I worked really hard on it. I hope it’s a success.”, before thanking the two & saying her goodbyes as she was ushered out of the room by a handler.

Jessica Jiyeon and YG Entertainment producer Teddy Park have decided to end their 13 month relationship.

Rumors surfaced last year of a possible romance, but they were quickly squashed, after the two were spotted at a music event together shortly before Girls’ Revolution debuted. Weeks later it was confirmed to be true.

Netizens claimed that the relationship was scandalous due to the age difference {Jessica was 20 at the time; Teddy was 31} as well as Jessica's then rookie status. The two fought against public opinion & continued on, eventually becoming a beloved couple.

AKF contacted Teddy Park earlier and was able to get his thoughts on the ending of their romance.

“It was mostly an issue of time. We're both extremely busy and we never had any real moments for each other. I'll always care for her, and only wish good things for her in the future, but it was at a point where neither of us could make it work any longer.” Teddy told AKF.
