After ending 2011 on a high note with her hit single “Last Winter”, power vocalist Jessica Jiyeon is ready to make a return with a powerful new single and mini album she’s sure will hook all listeners. The singer has spent the last seven months focusing on acting & even joined the cast of the popular SBS variety show “Running Man” as a permanent member.
Today, White Entertainment released artistically salacious teaser photos for Jessica’s fast approaching comeback. The photos, shot by famed Japanese photographer Lo Koizomi, feature Jessica scantily clad in a back alley & seedy hotel with a fully animatronic Ikiru the Cat (a popular Japanese animated pornographic character) head covering her face.
White Entertainment co-CEO KellyRose Spires had this to say about the direction of the teasers:
“People were caught off guard last year with “Bad Girl” and felt like Jessica found her niche with “Last Winter”, but instead of pigeonholing her in one role we here at White respect the decision of all our artists to explore different sounds & concepts.” she disclosed to AKF.
“These teasers may or may not directly reflect the tone of her new mini album, but regardless, she’s worked hard to maintain the body God and a team of highly skilled surgeons have given her. Why not show it off?”
She continued, “I think when you have the talent to back up the sexiness, showing a little skin isn’t anything to get up in arms about. But when you look like a drowned rat with two floatation devices super-glued to your chest & sound like Katy Perry on helium, going the slutty route is all some artists have to offer. It’s sad if you really think about it.”
The only clues to her upcoming single are the words “Love, Jessica” and its release date “6.13.12”.
