Hwayoung's wardrobe malfunction shames family and shocks Korea

It's been almost 24 hours since T-ara's Hwayoung had an X-rated wardrobe malfunction on Inkigayo, but the incident is still sending shockwaves throughout Korea

In what is quickly becoming the biggest news story since Kim Jong Il's death, Hwayoung's hot issue nip slip has torn South Korea apart, prompting reforms for the country's censorship laws and dividing the opinions of netizens like never before.

Speaking exclusively to AllKFlop, Baek Kim Suk from the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family had this to say about the shock incident. "The MOGEAF warned you degenerates that something like this would happen, and you didn't listen. CUBE Entertainment even sued us, and now look what's happened -- an afternoon TV show has been transformed into lewd porn."

She continued. "This is the kind of behavior I expect from Americans like Janet Jackson, so to see it in my own country is disheartening. It was literally the most obscene thing I have ever witnessed in my entire life, and I have been unable to sleep due to my worries about the future of Korea's youth."

"Is this what it takes to win awards on music programs now? Nudity and sex? Shame on Hwayoung, SBS, and Core Contents Media for letting this happen. The MOGEAF will be submitting a bill to have any idol-related programs, including the music shows, moved to cable television at a more appropriate time slot like midnight. When that passes, we will then move to have idol music banned forever, so trot can rule Asia again."

The scandal has also hit Hwayoung hard, with the 18-year-old telling Newsen that her family have now disowned her.
Hwayoung's female relatives hide their faces in shame

"My family said I bought shame upon them," revealed Hwayoung. "They taunted me and said I should join RaNia, and then put my belongings in the garbage and told me never to come home again. I told them I am never home anyway due to my schedules, but they wouldn't listen. Mother said she will only speak to me if I can become a more popular member of T-ara and land more CF deals and a role in her favorite drama."

Luckily for Hwayoung, her agency CCM have so far stuck by her side during the ordeal.

"CCM are the only ones who have shown me support," she continued. "They said that now that I am a hot issue, T-ara's vacation will be cancelled so we can continue our promotions and gain more fans. We will be releasing a repackaged album next month called 'Lovey-Dovey on Mars'. It will feature a new alien concept, thirteen MVs for the title track, and remixed versions of all the songs from Funky Town. Please show it lots of love."

Netizens have been quick to react to Hwayoung's wardrobe malfunction, flooding our forums with feedback as the controversy continues to rage.

Comments included, "Hwayoung was the #1 most searched term on Naver because I couldn't stop looking at her naked pictures," "I used to like T-ara, but that's because I thought they were innocent. I liked their gangster murder concept for Cry Cry, but this is too much," and "This is why I only support Yoona. She doesn't need to use her looks for attention."

  2. Lol, Koreans over-reacting on a wardrobe malfunction. She brought shame 'coz she experienced a wardrobe malfunction? Who would want that to happen to them? How can they rate it as obscene? CLose-minded people and their stupidity.
